VOLT LINES SMART TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES AND TAŞIMACILIK ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“We”) cares about the privacy of your information. Our Privacy Policy has been prepared in order to provide you with information about the collection, use and sharing of information you can provide through the www.voltlines.com website (“Website”) and Volt Lines Mobile Application (“Application”).
1.2 By using this Application or the services we provide, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of information specified about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy and you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy
1.3 By using this Application, you are also bound by the Google Maps Terms of Service.

2. Gathering information
2.1 We may collect and process the following personal information or data (personally identified information):
2.1.1 Some information required to register with Volt Lines, including your name, address, date of birth;
2.1.2 Your e-mail address;
2.1.3 Your mobile phone number;
2.1.4 recording of any correspondence between you and Volt Lines;
2.1.5 record of your rides;
2.1.6 any questionnaire or survey responses that we may use for research purposes;
2.1.7 Details of accounting or financial transactions, including transactions made through Volt Lines. This may include credit card, debit card or bank account information;
2.1.8 details of how you use Volt Lines and the resources you access;
2.1.9 Information we may request from you when you report a problem with the application;
2.1.10 If you are the driver, some information about your vehicle including license plate, vehicle make and model, vehicle capacity;
2.1.11 For Driver Verification, certain driver and vehicle documentation including Driver License, Transport Card, Psychotechnic, SRC Certificate,
2.1.12 cell phone location from your first registration;
2.1.13 Your TR Identity Number;
2.1.14 Your mobile phone brand and model, your OS version;
2.2 We collect this information only when you choose to provide it to us. You are not obliged to provide us with any personal information, but if you do not provide the necessary information, you may not be able to use our services completely.
2.3 The collected information is stored indefinitely on Volt Lines servers and shared with 3rd party applications when necessary to increase the service quality.
3. Use of Information
3.1 We may use this information for the following purposes:
3.1.1 To ensure that the Volt Lines service is offered in the most effective way for you and your device and to adapt the application according to your preferences in the next stages;
3.1.2 In the improvement of Volt Lines;
3.1.3 In the fulfillment of obligations arising from any agreement between us;
3.1.4 In your use of Volt Lines services;
3.1.5 To contact you and inform you about changes to Volt Lines or the services we offer (except where you do not want us to do so);
3.1.6 receiving payments;
3.1.7 Analyzing how users use Volt Lines for marketing and research purposes.
3.2 Volt Lines does not sell your information to third parties and does not use it for third parties’ marketing.
4. Sharing your information
4.1 If we make any payments to you or collect funds from you for any service at Volt Lines, including any sponsorship work, credit card or debit card payments will be collected by our payment processor.
4.2 You may need to provide the necessary details to our payment processor in order to process payments. We will inform you when this information is needed.
4.3 We do not share any information you provide through Volt Lines with third parties, except in the following cases;
4.3.1 Sharing with our consultants who check the driver and identity documents you uploaded through the application if you are a driver within the Volt Lines service, and with the drivers and company if you are a passenger.
4.3.2 If we are obliged to share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation (for example, if requested by a court order or to prevent fraud or other crimes);
4.3.3 We may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of the sale of some or all of our business and assets to a third party or as part of any commercial / organizational restructuring, but we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights remain protected.
4.3.4 In order to provide advanced mapping and routing services, we may share location and address information with Zen Drive Inc., HERE Maps and Google Maps.
4.3.5 VOLT LINES SMART TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES AND TAŞIMACILIK ANONİM ŞİRKETİ may share information necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of the user of Volt Lines or other third parties. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and similar purposes.
4.4 Other than as stated above, we will not share your personal information unless you give us your consent.
5. Notification of changes in our Privacy Policy
By posting changes to our Privacy Policy on Voltlines.com, we will assist you in making sure that you are always aware of the information we collect, how it is used, and under what conditions we will share it with other parties, if any.
6. Terms of Use
Users acknowledge that Volt Lines application and system must be used in good faith and in accordance with these terms and conditions for the realization of Volt Lines ‘commercial and social purpose, and any improper use, abuse or manipulation will endanger Volt Lines’ operations and purpose. In this context, users accept and undertake that any of the following situations will constitute “Misuse” for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
Any act or undertaking that seeks or attempts to achieve commercial and / or unfair profit / profit and / or benefit for any driver, contrary to the purpose, rules and conditions of Volt Lines;
Any act or attempt to misuse, abuse and / or manipulate the Volt Lines application;
Any act or attempt made for misuse, abuse and / or manipulation of the system in order to obtain, reward or win unfair and unfair profits contrary to the terms and conditions of current or future reward and promotional campaigns offered by Volt Lines
Any action or attempt made while using the Volt Lines application that conflicts with the principles of integrity and goodwill.
Volt Lines has the right to suspend or cancel any user account that has committed any of the improper uses described above, and to initiate legal and criminal action against this user. In addition to the above, the User is obliged to pay a penalty of 10.000 TL (Ten Thousand Turkish Liras) for each Irregular Use at once and without notice. Amount of penalty payments, in violation of users, the Volt Lines to compensate for the losses in excess of the amount of fines and is not relieved from criminal responsibility in accordance with laws of the Republic of Turkey.
